Discord Channel Guide

Guidelines

  • -The Velvet Lounge- The General Chat

  • -The Gilded Gate- The location to welcome new people and prospective members.

  • -Guild Guidelines- The Discord guidelines channel

  • -Boneyard- The location where stats are posted.

  • -Scream Chamber- The scream room. Complaint therapy for free!

  • -Ivy Academy- The location where people learn how to improve their game.

  • -Court Events- The Discord Guild events channel, where registrations take place.

  • -The Scandal Sheet- The Dahlia newspaper

  • -The Laboratory- The bot room. For stats and whatnot.

  • -All Private Channels- Various channels for teams, officers, etc.

  • -Voice Channels- Come join us in any of the voice channels, including Abyssal Dream and the Den of Thieves.

  • Be kind to other players. This is above all. Respect is required to participate. Griefing, threats, and trolling may result in anywhere from a warning to being kicked depending on the situation.

  • Please remain active. When you leave, your friends miss you.

  • Remember that this is game, and that things happen. Don't hold it against each other when things go wrong.

  • Connect to other guild mates. It's easy to keep your head down, but it's worth it to connect.

  • Humor is welcome! If someone is offended by a joke, apologize and move on; if you're offended, state that and then move on. There's no need to go into depth on the matter.

  • Please avoid topics that disturb other members. This can include religion, politics, sexual content, etc. If you go to far, simply acknowledge it and be more careful in the future.

  • NSFW content is not allowed in the server. 

  • Personal servers are not supported by the Dahlia Court. New members and guests (aka Watchers) are not to be invited to a personal server.

  • Adult language is permitted, but just like everything, please avoid going overboard

  • Please treat Enforcers and Admin with respect. They are there to make sure everyone has a good time. If you feel someone is abusing their power, please inform another officer, or Chaoscaine and Loganus directly.

Dahlia Court's New Hierarchy

The power of the Dahlia Court used to be constrained by a binary officer/member system from the dark ages of the Halcyon Fold. This is no longer the case. We now have sub groups within the guild based on function:

  • We have enforcers (moderators) who keep things clean and stop you guys from running in the halls.

  • We have a public relations group, which includes recruiting, forming relationships with other guilds, and brokering a peace treaty with Gythia.

  • We have our creative team, writing lore, making videos, designing art, etc.

  • And we have mentors, teaching and guiding people into a future of total pwnage within VainGlory.

 

Furthermore there is a tier system for advancement within our guild. Members of the guild can earn one of three titles:

  • Hunter is the base member status.

  •  Veteran is a status earned by being active.

  • Elite is the elusive title. It can only be earned by being awarded by one of the admins. If you have earned the most guild fame in a season, you can earn it. If you have helped other members consistently, you can earn it. It must be something of great impress, earned over a period of time."
