Dahlia's Maelstrom Massacre

Good evening, Hunters.

This update is the first for the Dahlia Court, and already we have advanced quite far. Our guild has grown exponentially, and we are gearing up to wreck the new season.

Currently, our goal is to reach guild level 70, and I have no doubt we can reach it with the dedication of all our beastly Hunters.

Until then, we have a ton of features in the works for guild members. We have begun outlining the guild lore, which will live here in The Forgotten Quarter. Other pages will include channel listing, and other information to orient new members to the guild.

The guild is also hosting its first tournament! Registration is in the Affairs of the Court channel, and will close Sunday evening.

Round 1 will be used to create stats from with the next rounds will be judged. The Tournament will be based on 3vs3, 2vs2, and 1vs1 fights, and each round will have multiple fights occurring at the same time. Fights may include mirroring teams, or other surprises such as mixing team members.

Fighting will begin Monday, so take time to practice with team members.

All fights will be recorded and the videos will be placed in the Guild Events Channel. Fights will be moderated by Chaoscaine, who will be on deck as a spectator. 3v3 and 2v2 will be played as normal casual matches. Experimenting in this mode will be vital, since all elimination rounds will have 1v1 and the final winner of the tournament will be determined by a 1v1 fight (there can only be one).

The prize for this year will include a special badge (A coat of arms trophy, in fact) on the top of the website, as well as a special avatar that can be used on discord or where-ever you would like. Also, the winner will be referred to as Conqueror _________ until the next tournament. Players who show exceptional skills may be noted, which can also earn a title of Ace ______________.

Until next time, Hunters.

Amendment: 1vs1 in the tournament will be done as casual instead of practice, due to the developing nature of the round. We felt it was more fair to allow people to recover from early game mistake, and made for a more compelling round.
